Books in the large 2026

The Books Page

This will be the smallest percentage of the list. In fact I'm not convinced this page won't just be one long, dedicated review of House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski. As I'm writing this I'm currently in the process of finishing that book up, and it's outstanding. I'm not much of a book reader. I wish I was! I usually only read about one book per year. Last year it was The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. Also an incredible book.

Since I'm not much of a book reader (not counting Manga) I don't really have a favorite list. I basically stopped reading books once I got out of Highschool, and in Highschool I only read for english class. Don't get me wrong, this is all stuff I would love to change! I just don't trust myself to actually act on that feeling. Books are incredible, when I read a good book its really a feeling unmatched by any other medium. Especially if you physically own the book. It just feels good to carry them around, physically turn the pages and keep your little bookmarks. Hopefully I read more than one book next year. For now, look forward to the multipage review of House of Leaves.

Also if you have any book recommendations based on my thoughts, please send them my way! The next book I plan on reading is Little Pink Book: A Bad Bad Novel by Olivia Kan-Sperling. Mostly just cause thats the book my girlfriend is going to read next, and she's buying it physically so we'll have a copy of it on hand. It sounds very good though!
